About

Hi.

I’m Meg, an activist, doctoral student, & writer. Also a dedicated coffee drinker, chardonnay swiller, and lover of sunshine.

I’m interested in how we can most usefully think about the politics of feminism and economic justice. I think most things are political. I’m easily distracted by good writing and pretty things, and am very pleased by this study.

This place is my filing cabinet. If you’re rummaging, you’ll mostly see writing that I’ve published elsewhere, such as in the National Times, the Punch, New Matilda and on the F Collective blog, where I write regularly. This place is a home for all those things, but also sees the occasional original piece, such as this one.

I can be contacted at megan dot clementcouzner at gmail dot com

Acknowledgement of country

I live in inner city Sydney, Australia, so most of my work is done on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. I pay respect to their elders, past and present and acknowledge that this land was never ceded.
